It's that time of the year - the holiday magic at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens' annual WildLights event, a cherished tradition in Palm Desert. Now in its 32nd season, WildLights transforms the zoo into a winter wonderland with over three million twinkling lights, captivating displays, and festive activities for all ages.
Here are some of the highlights of Wildlights:
Dazzling Light Displays: Wander through the zoo illuminated by millions of lights, including the enchanting Tunnel of Lights and a new 30-foot-tall holiday tree.
Live Entertainment: Nightly performances that add to the festive atmosphere.
Animal Encounters: Explore the African Safari section to glimpse animals like rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and African painted dogs in this unique nocturnal setting.
Festive Activities: Indulge in s’mores at the dedicated station, take a ride on the holiday carousel, and capture memories at various photo opportunities.
Seasonal Treats: Savor wintertime yummies from multiple food outlets, with a full bar offering beer, wine, and specialty cocktails for guests 21+
